Extra Blackberry Jam from Emilia

Cherries of the Durone nero di Vignola variety, large, very dark, with a characteristic heart shape and a firm, almost crunchy flesh, very flavorful, unmistakable, have always been one of the most delicious fruits.

The Jam of Duroni di Vignola is a delightful summer preparation, one of our favorites; ideal not only to spread on slices of bread or toast, for a snack or breakfast, but also to fill tarts, stuff brioches, pastries, decorate ice cream and create many desserts!

The Vignola cherry has very ancient origins, in fact it was already present in the mid-nineteenth century. The climatic conditions of the Emilian territory have allowed the plant to develop, becoming one of the most important varieties not only locally, but nationally. The success and production of these cherries are also due to the growers who pass down to their children the agricultural techniques and harvesting of the product.
